South Wales Police today charged a woman with the murder of a seven-year-old boy in connection to a house fire in Canton earlier this year.
As we reported, Yassen Ali's body was found after a fire at his home on Severn Road in July.
In a statement released at 2am today, police confirmed a 36-year-old man had been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child and a 31-year-old woman has been charged with murder.
The woman and man remain in custody and are due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court today.
