Man and woman arrested three years after fatal shooting of Keith Branigan at caravan park in Louth

A man and a woman have been arrested in relation to the shooting of a 29-year-old man in Clogherhead, County Louth, in 2019.

The victim - later named locally as Keith Branigan - was pronounced dead at the scene on Tuesday, August 27, after an array of bullets were shot at his car at Ashling Holiday Park.

According to reports at the time of his death, it was believed that Branigan “became the first to die in the notorious Drogheda gang feud.”
