A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of Clive Staunton in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
Mr Staunton, who was an innocent relative of Gerry “The Monk” Hutch, was shot dead outside his home in Glen Easton Way in November of last year.
The dad-of-one was originally from the Greek Street flats in Dublin’s inner city.

The 50-year-old was hailed as a "great neighbour" by locals, with the local community left stunned by the horror shooting.
Gardai confirmed at the time that two burnt out cars found in Manor Kilbride in Co Wicklow were being examined as part of the investigation.
And today gardai revealed two people, one man and one woman, have been arrested in connection with the murder.
A garda spokesman said: "The male and female are currently being detained in relation to the murder under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 in Kildare Garda Stations.
"No further information available at this time."
