A man and woman will be sentenced later this month after they admitted different charges relating to cannabis.

John Stone, 48, of The Green, Bilsthorpe, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis on January 7, 2019, with intent to supply when he appeared at a plea and trial preparation hearing at Nottingham Crown Court.

The court heard he was convicted at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on December 10, 2019, of three charges of making indecent photographs of a child and one of possessing an extreme pornographic image.

Also in the dock at the crown court was Lyndsey Blackbourn, 39, of Church Street, Bilsthorpe, who pleaded guilty to one charge of being concerned in the supply of cannabis to another between January 1, 2018, and January 7, 2019.

Applications were made for pre-sentence reports to be prepared and they will be sentenced on January 30. They are both on bail.
