Man allegedly shot, several others injured in brawl in street in North Booval, Ipswich

Four men have been taken to hospital, one of them with alleged gunshot wounds, after a brawl broke out in North Booval in Ipswich on Tuesday evening.

The man in his 20s was taken to the Ipswich Hospital in a critical condition.

Police said they had multiple reports of shots having been fired on Baden Jones Way about 5:00pm.

Another man in his 20s was allegedly hit by a car and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a serious but stable condition.

The two other men of a similar age were taken to hospital for alleged assault injuries.

Police said the fight involved more than a dozen men, some of which fled the scene.

Police shut the area to traffic following the incident.
