A man allegedly attacked staff and a customer at a Paisley boozer after refusing to wear a face mask.
It is claimed the 64-year-old punched a woman and the bar manager at the Last Post in County Square after he was asked to wear a covering.
He is then said to have kicked over a Perspex divider in the pub, used to separate drinkers during the covid pandemic.
The man allegedly hurled homophobic abuse as he was asked to leave the premises by staff.
Cops were called to alleged incident at around 7.30pm on Wednesday.
They are keen to trace the woman who was attacked as she had left the scene before they arrived.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called to reports of a disturbance within a public house in County Square, Paisley at around 7.30pm.
"We are keen to trace a female witness who may have vital information in relation this alleged incident.
“We would ask her to contact police in Paisley on 101.”
A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with assault charges and report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Meanwhile, two men have been arrested over claims they were armed with offensive weapons in an Erskine street.
The pair, aged 40 and 16, are said to have threatened a group of youths in Rashielee on Wednesday evening.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police were called to reports of a disturbance in Rashielee, Erskine at around 6.30pm on Wednesday.
“Two men aged 40 and 16 were subsequently arrested and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
