Man airlifted to Canberra Hospital after car rolls three times on Hume

A man has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition after the car he was driving hit a rock wall and rolled three times.

NSW Police said the crash happened about 9.45pm on Saturday, as the Holden Equinox travelled north on the Hume Highway at Marulan.

The 34-year-old driver, from Sydney, suffered head and chest injuries in the crash.

A 63-year-old Dickson man who was a passenger was taken to Goulburn Hospital with minor injuries.

Another passenger, a 26-year-old man from the South Coast, was taken to Liverpool Hospital in Sydney with hip and leg pain.

The incident resulted in northbound lanes on the Hume Highway being closed for two hours as a crime scene was established.

On Sunday, police said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
