Man aged 55 found dead at home as police launch appeal to trace his sister

A man's body was found at a house in Waterloo.

Police confirmed today that 55-year-old Paul Flannery was found dead at his home in Oxford Road.

Mr Flannery died on Friday, October 29, a Merseyside Police spokesman said.

Now on behalf of Sefton Coroner's Office, police have launched an appeal to trace his family, including a sister who police said is believed to live in Liverpool.

Police have ruled out foul play, saying his death is not suspicious.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "55-year-old Paul Flannery sadly died on Friday 29 October at his home address on Oxford Road. There are no suspicious circumstances.

"Paul is believed to have a sister in Liverpool."
