A Merseyside man today admitted a catalogue of sexual offences against a 14-year-old girl.
James Prytherch appeared at Liverpool Crown Court this morning charged with a series of crimes against the youngster, who cannot be named.
The 33-year-old appeared before Judge Garrett Byrne, via video-link from HMP Liverpool in Walton, where all 16 charges were read out to him.
To each one, the St Helens man, of Cheviot Avenue, pleaded guilty.
Prytherch has admitted charges of meeting a child for grooming, and multiple counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, along with a single charge of sexual communication with a child.
Lawyers for him said there was no basis of plea and said the defendant accepted the prosecution's case.
He has no previous convictions.
Judge Byrne adjourned the case until November 1 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
He must sign the Sex Offender's Register.
A Sexual Harm Prevention Order will be sought by prosecutors.
The crimes all happened between July and September.
