Police have raided a home and arrested a man accused of trying to import anti-Semitic literature and a firearm.
A joint investigation launched by NSW Police and Australian Border Force (ABF) officers led investigators to a home at Green Point on the Central Coast on Wednesday, May 20.
Brisbane Water detectives - backed by the Northern Region Operations Support Group, ABF officers and Fire and Rescue NSW crews - raided the property about 7am.
Police allegedly uncovered and seized several firearms, ammunition, weapons, literature, flags depicting hate symbols and other items of interest to the investigation during the search.
Craig Andrew McDonald, 39, was arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was charged with 29 offences, including a dozen counts of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit.
The other charges related to firearms, manufacturing a firearm, intentionally importing goods without approval, and handling explosives.
McDonald made no application for bail when he faced court on Thursday, May 20, and it was formally refused.
