Man accused of threatening staff at Cotswold Outdoor with a crowbar appears in court

A man appeared in court charged with a robbery at Cotswold Outdoor along with burglaries at a shop and a pub.

Shawn Dibble appeared Bristol Crown Court after shop workers at Cotswold Outdoor in Union Street in Bristol were threatened with a crowbar during a robbery, police said.

The 42-year-old, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of burglary and one of robbery.

He was arrested in connection with the robbery at Cotswold Outdoor on September 25 where designer clothing was stolen.

He has also been charged with burglary following raids at the Fred Perry Store on Philadelphia Street, on August 15, and at the Traveller’s Rest pub in Pensford on August 9.

Dibble was due to enter a plea at Bristol Crown Court today. (January 10)

But the court was told further work is being done regarding matters to be taken into consideration.

Judge James Patrick adjourned the case until February 11.

Dibble was remanded in custody.
