A man who was accused of robbing a shop with a machete gave reporters some interesting quotes following his court appearance and made some “your mum” jokes about them live on TV.
The 18-year-old had to be repeatedly censored for his language when asked questions by journalists outside.
He had been accused of robbing a service station at knife-point in Gold Coast, Australia, but was released on bail.

The teen denied robbing the store to the reporters from Channel 7 and Channel 9 News, who were waiting for him outside the court. “Get out of my face,” he told them before swiping their microphones away and cursing at them repeatedly.
When quizzed by Channel 9’s journalist whether it was going to look good acting the way he was on television, the 18-year-old said: “I don’t give a f**k. I didn’t do s**t so f**k off.”
He then enters a building, but the reporters decide to stay put, and the teen later returns to talk to them again.
This time, he has a big smile on his face, grabs the microphones and said: “I didn’t rob that store so you guys can go jam it up your a**e.”
The real kicker, though, is when the young man starts to roll out the “your mum” jokes to the reporters.
When asked how his night was in the watch house, he said: “Oh yeah pretty good. Your mum came round and she came to visit me. I had a pretty good time, to be honest.”
Unfazed, the journalist asked: “What are you going to do today?”
“Probably going to see her again. Sounds like a good idea to me,” the 18-year-old replied with a big grin.
The other reporter, from 7 News, then asked if he was going to go back to the watch house, to which the young man replied: “No, I’m going to go see his mum and then I’m gonna go see your sister.”
It gets even more awkward when the reporter tells the teen he doesn’t have a sister. “Oh, sorry, but you will in 9 months, won’t you?” he said back.
A moment of silence passed before the teen cracked and said: “You don’t get the joke.”
He decided to answer the remaining questions with his vape in hand.
