Man accused of filming changing boy with 'spyglasses' in Portstewart charged with voyeurism

A man alleged to have filmed a child changing at the seaside with suspected 'spyglasses' has been charged with voyeurism.

Police were called by a concerned dad who saw the man allegedly "acting weirdly" around 3.45pm in Portstewart on Saturday, July 27.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 64-year-old male has been charged with voyeurism. He is expected to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday 19 August.

"The charge is in connection with an incident in The Crescent area of Portstewart on Saturday 27 July."

It is unclear whether he has been remanded into custody.
