A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in north suburban Mundelin, police said.
Officers responded about 8:35 a.m. to Routes 176 and 60-83 for reports of a collision, Mundelein police said in a statement.
An 82-year-old driver was taken to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was pronounced dead, police said. He lived in an unincorporated area near Mundelein.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Mundelin police and the Lake Count Major Crash Assistance Team are investigating.
