An 80-year-old man was rushed to hospital after having a medical episode during an incident involving two cars in Wigan.
Emergency services were called to Walthew Lane in Wigan at 10am this morning (January 12) following reports of the incident which involved a vehicle crashing into a parked car.
The road was closed for a short period while emergency services were at the scene.

The man was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At approximately 10am on Wednesday, 12 th January, firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Walthew Lane, Platt Bridge.
“One fire engine from Hindley station quickly attended the scene. The collision involved two cars.
"Firefighters worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for around 20 minutes.”
A spokesperson for GMP said: “One vehicle involved collided into a parked car.
"A man in his 80s had a medical episode and has been taken to hospital.”
