Man, 73, missing from Garfield Ridge

A 73-year-old man police describe as “high risk” was reported missing from Garfield Ridge on the Southwest Side.

Merlin Bhose is missing from the area of the 5200 block of South Moody Avenue, Chicago police said in an alert on Sunday. He has depression and diabetes.

Bhose may be driving a 2006 four-door gray or silver-colored sedan, police said. It has damage on the front passenger side and an Illinois license plate reading “E29135.”

He is 5-foot-6, 180 pounds with blue eyes and red hair. It isn’t known what he was last seen wearing.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
