A 71-year-old man already charged for his alleged role in the murder of a toddler is facing multiple separate child abuse charges.

The man had already been arrested and charged in relation to the murder of a two-year-old girl, allegedly beaten to death with plastic tubing and dumped on a rural property at Porters Retreat near Oberon in 1987.

The property was the headquarters of the Ministry of God cult, homicide commander Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty told reporters in May.

The child's mother, Ellen Craig, 60, has been charged with her murder and was extradited from New Zealand in May after being arrested in November.

She remains before the courts, as does the 71-year-old man accused of helping her dispose of the body.

He was arrested in NSW in November.

On Thursday, he was charged with a further 11 offences for allegedly physically and sexually assaulting four people, including two children.

The man allegedly assaulted a 14-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl and two women aged between 20 and 33, across a 13-year period beginning in 1987.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Bathurst Local Court on October 12.

Investigations are ongoing.
