A man has died after falling off a ladder in Co Limerick.
The body of the man, aged in his early 70s, was found lying beside the ladder in Kilduff, Pallasgreen on Thursday afternoon around 2.30pm.
It's not yet known exactly when the tragic accident took place.
But the man was last seen on Sunday, May 10.
Gardai are understood to be treating the man's death as a tragic accident.
A post-mortem will be carried out today.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, aged in his 70s, who was found deceased in a domestic residence in Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick on Thursday afternoon, 14th May 2020.
"The body of the man was removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem is due to be carried out."
