A 70-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after becoming trapped in a deep ravine.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue were called to help paramedics who found the man slipping in and out of consciousness near Eglwysbach, Conwy, on the afternoon of Saturday, August 8.
The man was so deep into the ravine that ropes were initially used to haul him out before being placed onto a stretcher.

The 70-year-old suffered a broken hip and was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd.
Due to the isolated location where the man was found, it was not possible to transport him by ambulance to the hospital.
This was not the only rescue to take place in north Wales over the weekend.
On Sunday, cave rescue experts were flown in to help two people who were seriously injured falling into a disused mine shaft.
One of the victims was airlifted to hospital after the two became trapped in the disused mine shift at Porth Ysgo on the Llŷn Peninsula.
Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team worked alongside the cave rescue experts and coastguard and ambulance emergency responders.
Both casualties were eventually evacuated from the shaft with the seriously injured casualty being conveyed to Ysbyty Gwynedd by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service - EMRTS Wales (Wales Air Ambulance).
