Man, 69, unable to speak, missing from Hyde Park has been located

Derry Griffith | Chicago police

A 69-year-old man reported missing from Hyde Park on the South Side has been located.

Derry Griffith, 69, was last seen about 5 p.m. Friday, in the 5700 block of South Maryland Avenue, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert 8:20 p.m. Sunday stating Griffith had been located.
