A man has died following a house fire in Tollcross in the early hours of this morning.
Police and fire services were called to the scene at the tenements in Corbett Street at around 3.55am, and reports of the fire continued past 6am this morning.
Officers told Glasgow Live that during the course of the evening, a 69-year-old man tragically died.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 69-year-old man has died following a fire at a house in Corbett Street in Glasgow, on Friday, 20 November, 2020.
"Emergency Services were called to the address around 3.35am.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are currently ongoing to trace his next of kin. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
