A 69-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder of missing Patricia Henry.
Patricia, or Patti to her friends and family, was reported missing in March 2018.
She lived in Paisley before relocating to Girvan in October 2017 and despite extensive police enquiries to date, no trace of her has been found.
Patricia was last seen on Monday, November 13 2017.
Detectives searching for the missing mum launched a re-appeal two weeks ago for any assistance in an effort to gather more information on her disappearance.
Police Scotland can confirm that a 69-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of 46-year-old Patricia Henry, who was last seen at her home address in Girvan in November 2017.
Enquiries are ongoing.
