Man, 66, with Alzheimer’s missing from South Shore located

A 66-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who was reported missing Friday afternoon from the South Shore neighborhood on the Far South Side has been located.

Andrew Henard was last seen at 1:30 p.m. leaving his home in the 7800 block of South Cornell, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police. He was supposed to take the CTA bus to visit a friend in the Washington Park neighborhood, but never showed up.

Police said Saturday morning that Henard had been located and reunited with his family. Further details were not provided.
