Man, 60, dies in horror crash after car leaves Highland road near Inverness

A man has died after a horror road crash in the Highlands near Inverness.

Paul Peacock, 60, was fatally injured after his Volkswagen Golf left the road on the A862 at Lentran.

He was the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, with the incident taking place at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.

Celtic fan remains critical as police re-appeal for info on violent Old Firm clashes  

No other vehicles were involved.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: "Enquiries into the collision are ongoing and anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident number 1668 of April 2, 2019."
