A 59-year-old man has been found dead at his home near Newsham Park.
Police today launched an appeal to find relatives of the deceased who they named as Kenneth McCarrick.
Mr McCarrick who had been living in supported living accommodation in Strathmore Road was sadly found dead on Tuesday, December 22.
Merseyside Police have ruled out foul play, stressing there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
But efforts to trace his family have so far drawn a blank.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Liverpool and Wirral Coroner’s Office is appealing for information to help trace the next of kin of a man who recently died in Liverpool.

"Kenneth McCarrick, aged 59, sadly died at his accommodation address in Strathmore Road on Tuesday, 22 December.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
