A 52-year-old man has died and a second man has been left seriously injured following a crash involving two motorbikes.
Police were called to the incident near Betws-y-Coed on Tuesday afternoon at around 1.30pm following reports of the crash involving two motorcylists on the A5, near Rhydlanfair.
Sadly, a 52-year-old man from Derbyshire was pronounced dead at the scene. A 61-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

North Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service and the Wales Air Ambulance attended the scene.
Temporary Sergeant Liam Morris of the Roads Policing Unit said "Our sincere sympathies go out to his family, friends and loved ones at this very difficult time. Specially trained officers are currently supporting his family.”
"The investigation is ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this collision and we are appealing to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.”

The road was closed for several hours as officers carried out their investigations but it reopened shortly before 9pm.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident and are asking anyone with information that could assist their investigation to come forward.
