A man has been left seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the road in Oldham.
The crash happened on Hollins Road, near the junction with Limeside Road, at around 6.45am this morning (Saturday). Emergency services were called to the scene.
A 51-year-old man was crossing Hollins Road when he was hit by the vehicle, police said. He was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

He remains there for treatment, officers added. The driver remained at the scene after the crash and is assisting police with investigations.
