Man, 51, in 'life-threatening condition' after Bristol crash

A 51-year-old man is in a life-threatening condition after a two-car crash in Bristol yesterday (Friday, October 1).

Police are appealing for dashcam footage and urged anyone who saw the collision on Hartcliffe Way to come forward.

It happened just after 4pm, when a black Toyota Auris and a white Citroen Berlingo van smashed together.

The 51-year-old, who was driving the Toyota, was taken to hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition, police say.

Officers at Avon and Somerset Police are keen to trace the drivers of two other vehicles who may have seen the crash.

They were in a red Ford Focus and a white long-wheelbase Sprinter van.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw any part of this incident or was driving in the area and captured the vehicles on your dashcam footage.
