A man in his 50s was stabbed in a serious late-night assault in Co Kerry.
The man was attacked outside his home in Garfinny, Dingle at around 4am last Friday night.
He was taken to University Hospital Kerry where he was treated for his injuries.
It is believed the man was later released from hospital.
A garda spokesman said: "The injured party is believed to have been assaulted by a male outside his house.
"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
