Man, 50s, dies in farm accident in Longford

A man in his 50s has died in a farm accident in Co Longford.

It is understood he was killed while working with machinery.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have launched an investigation into the death, RTE reports.

The tragic incident brings the number of people killed on Irish farms this year to nine.
