The body of a man has been found after an incident at a shooting range in north Dublin on Sunday.
It is understood the victim, in his 50s, suffered a fatal gunshot wound at the shooting range in Balheary, Swords at around 3.30pm.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts from paramedics and emergency services to save him, Dublin Live reports.
A postmortem is to be held which will determine the course of the Garda investigation surrounding his death.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí attended an incident at a shooting range in Balheary, Swords, Co. Dublin, yesterday, Sunday 16th February.
"The body of a male in his fifties was discovered. A post mortem will be conducted, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation."
