Man, 50s, arrested after cannabis worth €180k seized in south Dublin as part of Operation Tara

A man in his 50s has been arrested after a drug sting in a south Dublin business premises on Monday.

Gardai found the cannabis herb, which has an estimated value of €180,000, in the premises in the Sandyford area of the capital. The man was then arrested in connection with the find.

Gardai have confirmed investigations into the seizure are still ongoing. A spokesman said: "Gardaí seized an estimated €180,000 in cannabis herb at a business premises in the Sandyford area of Dublin on Monday. A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested in connection with the seizure. Investigations ongoing."
