A man has been killed in a motorbike crash on a popular scenic route in Co Kerry.
The 50-year-old was seriously injured when his bike collided with a car between Watergate and Caherdaniel shortly after 3pm today.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the car were uninjured.
Gardai and local emergency services attended the scene which is currently preserved for examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Diversions along the route are in place. The Coroner has been notified.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
"Investigating Gardaí are also appealing for road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling on this route at the time to make it available to them.
