A 50-year-old man has died in a crash in Edinburgh.
Officers were alerted to the incident on Cramond Road South shortly after 10pm on Wednesday.
It involved a Vauxhall Corsa car.
Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Paul Ewing said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died.
“As our inquiries continue, I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this crash to contact us.
“I would also urge anyone who was in the area who has dashcam or personal footage to please review it and get touch if it holds anything which may be relevant.”
