A man has died following a crash in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police were called to the incident on the B4248, heading east out of Brynmawr , Blaenau Gwent.
A 49-year-old man from the Ebbw Vale area was pronounced dead at the scene. Gwent Police is now appealing for witnesses to the crash and said that the victim's family were being "supported by specially trained officers".
A spokesman for the force added: "At around 12.30am officers were called to a report of a serious, single road traffic collision on the B4248, heading east out of Brynmawr.
"The collision involved a silver Renault Megane.
"Officers are now appealing for information from any witnesses in the area, or motorists who used the road around the time of the collision to please check any dash cam footage that may provide further information that will assist officers with their enquiries."
