A man has tragically died after being hit by two cars in Manchester on Thursday evening.
Police said a 48-year-old man was involved in a collision with one car, then was hit by a second coming from the opposite direction in the Hulme area of the city just after 6pm.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, Manchester Evening News reports.
Both vehicles stopped at the scene and are assisting police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
Pictures at the scene shows specialist officers from the serious collision investigation unit (SCIU) examining the road surface and making investigations.

"Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
