Man, 48, arrested and charged over Kilmarnock 'attempted murder'

A man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after an incident in East Ayrshire last month.

A 46-year-old man was found injured near Ayr Road in Kilmarnock at around 1.50pm on Monday March 11.

He was treated at Crosshouse Hospital.

Glasgow bin lorry driver filmed using phone behind the wheel

Police said a 48-year-old man has now been arrested and charged.

He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday with a report to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
