A 48-year-old man has been arrested following the seizure of €292,000 worth of drugs on Monday night in west Dublin.
During the course of a Garda led operation, heroin worth €280,000 and cocaine to the value of €12,000 was seized in Ballyfermot.
The man was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Ballyfermot Garda Station.

Gardai, assisted by the Organised Crime Bureau, carried out the search on a residency in the area.
Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll of Special Crime Operations said: "An Garda Síochána is committed to disrupting the activities of organised criminals supplying drugs to our communities.
