Man, 46, dies after car hit parked lorry in Swansea

A 46-year-old man has died after a car hit a parked lorry in Swansea on Friday morning.

South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at 10.25am on Friday, May 1 on Neath Road in Landore.

The incident involved a blue Toyota C-HR car and a parked white Iveco lorry.

Despite efforts of paramedics, a 46-year-old man, who was driving the Toyota C-HR, died.

What to do if you're in a collision or if you've witnessed one

Police said his next of kin have been informed.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses who might have seen or have dash cam footage of the blue Toyota prior to the collision.

"The road was closed for approximately four hours to allow investigation work to be carried out.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank members of the public for their patience and understanding at this time.

"If you can help, please contact 101 quoting occurrence number 0148739."
