Man, 46, charged over alleged murder of man in Knightswood

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Knightswood.

Police Scotland raced to Hermitage Avenue at about 10am on Saturday after receiving reports of a man with serious injuries.

The man, named by the police as 50-year-old Paul Kelly, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland has now confirmed a 46-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

It is anticipated that he will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 18.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
