Man, 45, wanted after failing to turn up to court

A man is wanted by police after failing to turn up to court.

Charles Daysley, also known as Chass, is wanted by Merseyside Police after failing to appear for sentencing for a racially aggravated public order offence.

The offence took place in Lydiate in December 2020.

The 45-year-old is described as a white male, 5ft 8in tall with blonder hair and blue eyes.

Daysley also has links to Hull.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Recognise this man? We are appealing for information to find 45-year-old Charles, also known as Chass, Daysley.

"Daysley is wanted by police after failing to appear for sentencing for a racially aggravated public order offence which took place in Lydiate in December 2020.

"He is described as white male, 5ft, 8in tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Daysley has links to the Hull area.

"If you have seen Daysley or hold any information as to his whereabouts, come forward via @MerPolCC on Twitter, 'Merseyside Police Contact Centre' on Facebook, 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with reference 20000786715 and we'll do the rest."
