The body of a man has been found near a valleys recycling centre.
Officers were alerted to the scene in Ynysmaerdy, Pontyclun, at around 11am on Sunday, December 19.
The "sudden death" of 42-year-old man has been confirmed by South Wales Police, though they are not treating his death as suspicious.
An eyewitness reports the road outside Llantrisant Recycling Centre was closed for some time by police.

The case has now been passed on to the coroner.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We can confirm the sudden death of a 42-year-old man whose body found at around at approximately 11.00am on Sunday (Dec 19) in Ynysmaerdy, Pontyclun.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and file is being prepared for the Coroner."
