A man in his 40s has been arrested over the vandalism of a statue of Luke Kelly in Dublin city centre.
The incident happened on South King Street on June 24.
White paint was allegedly poured over the front of a sculpture of the Dubliners singer.
The legendary musician was from the Sheriff Street area, and died in 1984 at the age of just 43.

In a separate case, a man appeared in court earlier this month charged in connection with vandalism of another statue of Kelly in the north inner city.
And gardai have now confirmed that a man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the South King Street incident.
He is set to appear in the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am this morning.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí investigating criminal damage caused to a statue on King’s Street, which occurred on the 24th June 2020, have arrested and charged a man in his 40s.
"He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Wednesday 22 July 2020 at 10:30am."
