Man, 40s, arrested after drugs worth almost €200,000 found in Clondalkin raid

A man in his early 40s has been arrested after suspected drugs worth almost €200,000 were seized following a search of a house in Clondalkin.

The raid was the result of an ongoing investigations into drug dealing in Dublin.

Gardai attached to the Divisional Drugs Unit in Lucan, executed the warrant on Sunday evening.

During the course of the search of the house, gardai located diamorphine and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €186,000 (subject to analysis).

Other drugs paraphernalia were also seized during the operation.

The man who was arrested was taken to Ronanstown Garda Station where he was detained under the provisions of Section 2, Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
