A man with a mental health issue exposed his genitals in front of three teenage girls - then performed a sex act on himself.
Donald Nicol, aged 39, of Dalblair Road, Ayr, appeared at the town’s sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 10.
He admitted conducting himself in a disorderly manner on Main Road, Ayr.
The offence took place on May 16 this year and Nicol pleaded guilty to sending sexual verbal communications to a 15 year-old.
He then exposed his genitals and performed a sex act on himself in front of the 15 year-old- and in the presence of two 13 year-olds.
The court was told how Nicol is currently suffering from schizophrenia.
Sheriff Desmond Leslie placed Nicol on the Sex Offenders Register for five years, imposed a community payback order with includes three years of supervision and put the accused under a restriction of liberty order for the next four months.
