UPDATE October 8 , 2010: Cheshire police said Andrew Potter was yesterday located in Warrington. He has been arrested and is now in police custody.
A man connected with a serious assault is wanted by police.
Officers are asking anyone who sees or has information about Andrew Potter to contact them immediately.
The 37-year-old is described as 5 ft 10, with a stocky build, brown eyes and brown hair.

He is wanted in connection with a serious assault that happened in Lymm and has links to that area, Warrington and Altrincham.
A Cheshire police spokesperson said: "Police are asking the public to help trace a 37-year-old man who is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Lymm.
"Andrew Potter has links to Lymm, Warrington and Altrincham.
"Potter is white and 5’ 10” tall. He has a stocky build, brown eyes and brown hair.
"Anyone who sees Potter or has information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101, quoting IML 1041384.
"Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
