A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday in West Garfield Park.

Darius Westbrooks was northbound in a 2012 Cadillac about 3:30 a.m. in the first block of North Cicero Avenue when he lost control of his car and struck a light police, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, authorities said. Autopsy results released Monday confirmed he died of injuries in the crash, and ruled his death an accident.

CPD’s Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
