A MAN has been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Glasgow.
At around 3.30am on Sunday, police were called to reports of a 36-year-old man having been seriously assaulted in Pollokshaws Road, in the Shawlands area of the city.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Surrounding areas were cordoned off with police tape later on Sunday as police carried out their investigation.
The force confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.30am on Sunday, 29 June, 2025, officers were called to a report of a 36-year-old man having been seriously assaulted in Pollokshaws Road, Shawlands, Glasgow.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
