Man, 36, left injured after being attacked in Glasgow's east end

An investigation is underway after a man was seriously assaulted in the east end of Glasgow.

The 36-year-old was attacked on Tollcross Road around 6:20pm yesterday evening.

Police and emergency services attended and the man was treated for his injuries at the scene.

Police enquires are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the attack.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: An investigation is under way after a 36-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Tollcross Road on Monday, 2 November, 2020.

"The man received medical treatment from Ambulance Service at the location. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the attack. Police were called around 6:20pm."
