A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death last week in northwest Indiana.
Officers were called about 10:50 p.m. Jan. 29 to the 700 block of Elm Street in Valparaiso, Indiana, for calls of a deceased male, the Porter County coroner’s office said.
A preliminary investigation found Travis Thompson died from a stab wound to the femoral artery, the coroner’s office said. He lived in Valparaiso.
Valparaiso police are conducting a homicide investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 219-462-2135 or text 847-411 with “Valpo” at the start of the message followed by the tip, with the word “Elm” included in the first line.
